When Archie first started seeing us in the start of 2019 he was brought in in a laundry basket because he had no use of his hind legs. This was the second time he’d gone paralyzed, except this time he wasn’t recovering like he did the first round. Archie was incontinent, couldn’t move his tail, and had no feeling in his hind legs. It’s been a long couple of months but his mom never lost faith in him or in us. The first time Archie wagged his tail was three weeks in and we nearly cried. He then regained bowel and bladder control. Followed by the tiniest movements in his feet. After eight weeks of working on this angel, his mom walked in with him by her side and showed us this. Archie can now walk, he can stand and he can do so on his own accord. While he is far from perfect, his sense of normalcy is getting better every day. We have faith this sweet boy will be close to perfection in the next couple of months, and we are so glad his mom never gave up on him!
