The Doctors

Dr. Christina Tully (Cole)- D.C., Certified IVCA Animal Chiropractor

Dr. Christina has had a passion for animals for as long as she can remember. She spent many a weekend volunteering with the Michigan Animal Adoption Network (MAAN), a group co-founded by her father many decades ago. Compassion and love for the four-legged variety is just in her DNA. Dr. Christina attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate degree in zoology, she then attended Life University in Georgia for her doctorate in human chiropractic degree, and further attended Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic in Kansas to achieve her certification in animal chiropractic. She is board certified through the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA) and started Advanced Animal Chiropractic in 2014 and remains one of only a handful of practitioners board certified animal chiropractors in Michigan. Three years later her now husband, Dr. Grant also became board certified and joined the practice. Between the two of them thousands of animals have benefited from animal chiropractic.

Dr. Grant Tully- D.C., Certified IVCA Animal Chiropractor

Dr. Grant Tully is a licensed human chiropractor certified in animal chiropractic via the IVCA (International Veterinary Chiropractic Association). He is a Florida native that has learned to tolerate the Michigan winters thanks to the beautiful summers. Throughout his childhood, Dr. Grant was always very active and played soccer at the collegiate level. Being an athlete exposed him to several injuries, which in turn brought him to chiropractic. Chiropractic care helped him recover faster and he felt he could perform at an optimum due to his adjustments. During his years at Auburn University, Dr. Grant began to realize that chiropractic might be the perfect career as it combined his passion for healing with his love of science. He majored in Biomedical Science and then received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Atlanta, where he also met the love of his life, Dr. Christina. Her love of animals quickly rubbed off on him as well as her love of her home state. After a brief stint in human practice where he focused on neurological deficits, he decided to join Dr. Christina in practice and instead focus on animals. He attended the same post-doctorate program as Dr. Christina in Kansas called Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic.

Dr. Christina and Dr. Grant have multiple rescue hounds at any given moment, currently the crew consists of Pongo, Slinky Dog, and Perdy. They are most passionate about their fur babies and look for any excuse to spend their spare time snuggling them. They love to travel and love it even more when the pups can come along. Between the two of them football really is a second passion and they’ve spent many a weekend cheering (or cursing) their beloved teams, the Michigan Wolverines and Auburn Tigers. They also support the Detroit Lions, which just goes to show their dedication to those often deemed a lost cause.

The doctors have always had a passion for animals and have dreamed of dedicating their lives to their betterment. Dr. Christina and Dr. Grant are not veterinarians and do not practice veterinary medicine. They acknowledge chiropractic as an adjunct to veterinary medicine, not a replacement. As such, they work by veterinary referral in accordance to Michigan Codes and Regulations.
