Maxine is only four years old and two weeks ago went completely paralyzed, front and back end, out of the blue. Her veterinarian suspected a neck issue that was impairing function in all four limbs. She was recommended to get an mri and likely surgery. Maxine’s folks were willing to try an alternative. During her first visit it became clear that Max could not stand at all, she couldn’t weight bear, and she couldn’t lift her head. She was basically stuck on the ground, and only when supported was she able to stay up for a moment until knuckling and collapsing down. After her first adjustment Max showed significant improvement, she began to lift her front end and then a few days after her back end followed. After her second adjustment Maxine was able to lift and walk. While she’s got some healing left to do, Max is like a new pup and we are so happy to see her progress so positively!
